The digger has finally arrived and the clearing of the site began on Monday 27 April 2009. We now have a nice flat site with a mysterious new escarpment running along the boundary between us and "Tiger Wood". This is packed with specimen trees and shrubs which will hopefully survive in their temporary home.
Seamus and Martin marked out the house on Thursday afternoon following a 10 minute consultation to confirm desired positioning with Cheryl & myself. Martin had hoped to start digging the founds on Friday but alas..... it was not to be! It rained, and rained, and rained all day - well up to Martins going home time!
